Captain Cesc Fabregas Looks To Motivate Arsenal For Visit To Wolverhampton Wanderers
The Gunners' skipper is trying to fire up his fellow men...
Following on from Arsenal's mauling of midweek opposition AZ, talismanic playmaker Francesc Fabregas hopes for a repeat performance when the Gunners visit Wolverhampton Wanderers' Molineux stadium at the weekend.
At least one of the sides currently ranked first and second will be dropping points as Manchester United and Chelsea square off on Sunday, and Arsenal will be hoping to capitalise on that by shortening the gap on Saturday.
'Cesc' told The Sun: "We will have to be at our best as usual because today there are no small teams in the Premier League, everyone makes it difficult if you are not up for it, so we will have to be motivated to beat them.
"It is noticeable that the 'big four' teams have lost a number of matches so far between them.
"That is better for the league because it means other teams are improving."
Fabregas also noted that teams seem to be preferring a more positive approach to football.
"Maybe we are seeing teams throughout the division playing a little more football and trying to make passing combinations. We should never forget that people pay a lot of money to watch football and do not want to see players just kicking the ball up into the air.
"I know it is difficult to play one-twos and things like that, but you have to try your best to make the game attractive because people pay to see good football."
