Arsene Wenger Looking Forward To Having Tomas Rosicky, Theo Walcott & Samir Nasri Back

Trio set for November return.

The influence that versatile French midfielder Samir Nasri can have for Arsenal was evident when the former Olympique de Marseille star took to the Ashburton Grove turf midweek and sealed a comeback goal against AZ Alkmaar.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger is confident that the returns of Tomas Rosicky and Theo Walcott can give the first-team a further lift as the north London side head into a busy build-up to the Christmas campaign.

Czech Republic international Rosicky had been sidelined due to a complex knee injury, while pacy Englishman Walcott is back on the training ground after recovering from his own knee problem. Nasri had been out since the first session in pre-season training after a collision with Abou Diaby led to a leg fracture.

"I believe there is a period in November when you have a little more injuries than before," Wenger said to the club's official website.

"But we have a special case because we have some players [coming back] who have nearly not played this season. If you take players like Rosicky, like Walcott, like Nasri, it is a period where they can come into the team.

"Nasri played against Alkmaar, it was basically his first game, Rosicky has played three games and Walcott has basically not played this year," concluded Wenger.
