Manchester United's Patrice Evra: Drogba & Anelka Are Chelsea's Biggest Threat
Frenchman fears the pace and power of his two 'good friends'…
The Red Devils face Carlo Ancelotti's in-form side in an eagerly anticipated Premier League clash and Evra is well aware of the difficulty of the task ahead.
"Both Drogba and Anelka are good friends of mine. And I know they are both great players," he said, according to Press Association Sport.
"All the defenders need to focus because keeping a clean sheet will be the key to winning this game.
"We need to be strong because Drogba and Anelka are two big strikers. They are both so quick and strong, although I do feel we have enough quality to do our jobs."
Evra is also keen to avoid any controversy in west London. Last season he had an altercation with a groundsman after the game that resulted in a four-match ban for the player.
"That story is the past," he added.
"It is unfortunate that when I play against Chelsea, something always seems to happen.
"First it was the ground staff, then last year I had a bit of an argument with Michael Ballack. This year I have to make sure nothing happens because we need to get a result."
