I Would Not Trade Didier Drogba For Any Other Striker - Chelsea Boss Carlo Ancelotti
Carletto high on Drogs...
Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti has proclaimed that he would not swap Didier Drogba for any other striker in the world.
Drogba missed three matches in the Champions League owing to suspension, following a foul-mouthed attack on referee Tom Henning Ovrebo during the last edition of the competition.
The striker returned during the west London club's latest match in Group D to bag a brace and secure their place in the knockout phase in the Blues' quest for European glory.
Following the draw against Atletico de Madrid at the Vicente Calderon, Ancelotti heaped praise on the Ivory Coast international, but stopped short of calling him the best in the business.
"I don't know [if Drogba is the best]," he said, according to the Press Association.
"Didier is an important player for us. We have a lot of important players but he is doing very well and we are happy."
Drogba has often drawn criticism for his attitude both on and off the pitch, but Ancelotti had only for the way the former Marseille man was conducting himself around the club.
"I'm very happy with his behaviour, and I hope he continues like this," he concluded.
"For sure, I want to keep him. I don't want to change him with any other striker."
