Chelsea striker Salomon Kalou is in a rich vein of form and enjoying his recent appearances for the first team.
The young Ivorian demonstrated his sharpness against Atletico Madrid in the Champions League a fortnight ago by bagging two goals, and he is looking to continue that form when Chelsea play the return fixture in Spain on Tuesday evening.
But with Didier Drogba and Nicolas Anelka in such fine form, Kalou knows he must be patient.
"I am in good form, but our team is full of world-class strikers," he told Sky Sports.
"We are all firing at the moment, so we wait for our team – when you are called for the team you need to respond.
"We have a big game in the league on Sunday but let's win here and qualify for the next round, then we can concentrate on the Premier League.
"Atletico has great players not playing well at the moment so we can take a serious step to qualification."
