The rout was completed when Didier Drogba outmuscled Nelson and headed Lampard's corner past a flapping Robinson and, to the crowd's delight, Terry bravely cleared off the line after Olsson had lobbed Cech.
Chelsea added to their four goals in midweek with five goals which sees them go into their Carling Cup tie with Bolton in terrific form.
Blackburn now face Peterborough in the Carling Cup before a daunting trip to Manchester United next weekend.
