Ryan Giggs Out Of Manchester United's Trip To CSKA Moscow
Welsh winger not expected to make long trip east...
Ryan Giggs is doubtful for Manchester United's Champions League clash with CSKA Moscow at the Luznikhi Stadium this week.
The Welsh veteran picked up a minor injury at the end of United's 2-1 win over Bolton Wanderers at the weekend and is unlikely to make the trip to Russia.
Left-back Patrice Evra is also a doubt as the Red Devils look toward next weekend's Premier League tussle with Liverpool.
"Ryan Giggs has got a knock and is a doubt for Wednesday," United manager Alex Ferguson told the club's official website.
"Patrice Evra we'll have to look at tomorrow, he may be a doubt."
There were other doubts for Ferguson as well, particularly up front.
"[Dimitar] Berbatov, I think, will be alright. Wayne Rooney, we've got to try to get ready for Wednesday," he added.
"We'll see him on Sunday. I'm hopeful [Nemanja] Vidic will be alright, but he'll certainly be ready for the Liverpool game."
