A second Milan move looks close for the former Real Madrid star...
Los Angeles Galaxy are hoping to have finalised the loan deal returning David Beckham to AC Milan within the next two weeks.
The England star was instrumental in helping Galaxy qualify for the Major League Soccer Play-Offs for the first time in four years this season, and Chief Executive of Anschutz Entertainment Group (Galaxy's owners) Tim Leiweke wants the deal tied up in order to restore all attention towards the November 22nd final.
"We want to get it done, for him and for us, and I don't want any confusion" said Leiweke.
"We're going to clear that up in the next two weeks because we want the team to be focused"
34-year-old Beckham is keen to play as much club football as possible ahead of 2010's World Cup in South Africa, and Leiweke is understanding of this.
"We have a deep appreciation of what he is doing over here with his national team. I wanted him to know that we will support him so we are going to lend him out"
He added "We know he has to be playing in Europe leading up to the World Cup. That has been made clear to us and we are going to support that"
