Phil Brown Looking Forward To Hull City’s Next Match
The Tigers trainer wants his team to continue working hard to obtain more positive results.
Hull City manager Phil Brown expressed satisfaction with his
team’s performance in their 2-1 win over Wigan at the KC Stadium today, which
was only their second of the Premier League season. The trainer was
particularly pleased with the fact that the hard work his side put in during
the week paid off.
"At the end of the day, the hard work that we’ve put in this week has manifested itself in three points and now we have to keep the hard work going. That’s our job in the next two weeks," he said while speaking to BBC Sport in a post game interview.
Brown also admitted that the win would naturally relieve a bit of pressure from himself and the club as a whole after their poor start to the season.
“It [pressure] goes away temporarily but as I’ve said many many times I know that’s the deal. Winning games of football is the one thing that keeps pressure off of any manager. It doesn’t matter if its Alex Ferguson or Phil Brown, it is pressure to win games of football and we’ve done that today,” he added.
