Burnley Will See Didier Drogba On His Best Behaviour - Carlo Ancelotti
'Carletto' believes that the 'Drog' will be at his behavioural best at Stamford Bridge today...
Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti has proclaimed that Didier Drogba will put on his best behaviour in the presence of Burnley fans today.
The Ivorian had previously thrown a coin back into the crowd after the Blues succumbed to a shock defeat at the hands of the Clarets in the League Cup in November last year.
"Drogba has shown great quality since I've been here," 'Carletto' told The Sun.
"I didn't know him when he played Burnley last year. I didn't know him before I came here."
Speaking of the incident, the former Milan boss said that the striker has since calmed down as an individual.
"It can happen that one player in the match can lose his mind, can lose his control.
"But, now, I think he's very calm. It's [in] the past."
The ex-Diavoli boss then showered praise on the hitman, and spoke of the striker in the same breath as Wayne Rooney and Fernando Torres.
"Didier is one of the best strikers I have worked with," he remarked.
"We are lucky to have Didier and [Nicolas] Anelka. They are at the same level as Rooney or Fernando Torres."
Ancelotti, who is not new to getting the best out of his players even during the twilight of their careers, hinted that the former Olympique de Marseille player still has a lot to give to the club.
"I think Didier has had a very good career up to now but he can do better because, at 31, he is not an old player," he concluded.
