Chelsea Coach Carlo Ancelotti Aims For Milan's Clarence Seedorf - Report

The latest reports from Italy suggest Chelsea are looking towards another Milan-based middle man...

Champions League: Seedorf, Pirlo, Bayern - Milan
Chelsea coach Carlo Ancelotti is ready to show his hand for Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf.

According to Il Giornale, Ancelotti is ready to return to his former club and ask for the 33-year-old midfielder. The ex-Milanista tried, but failed to land Andrea Pirlo, and he is now turning his attention to the Dutchman.

Seedorf was popular under Ancelotti during their seven years together at San Siro, and he was a key component in the team before the coach joined Chelsea during the summer.

However, despite the reports, it is suggested the Rossoneri have no intention of selling him. Seedorf is seen as back up to Ronaldinho. Voices claim there are still doubts over the Brazilian's potential this season, and it is unlikely that Seedorf will be put on the market.

Seedorf joined Milan from Inter in 2002 from Inter and has won the Scudetto, a Coppa Italia, two Champions Leagues and a FIFA Club World Cup.
