Everton Eyeing Valencia Midfielder Ever Banega - Report

Everton manager David Moyes is reportedly on the verge of pulling off a major coup by signing Argentine prospect Ever Banega to the Goodison Park club.
According to a report in The Daily Post, the Toffees boss claimed that he hopes to sign two players in "the next 48 hours".
The newspaper claims that one of these additions is the 21-year-old Valencia midfielder, who will move on a season long loan with the option of a permanent move to Merseyside.
The defensive midfielder cost los Che around €18 million when they signed him from Boca Juniors in January 2008. However, controversy off the pitch has ensured that he has fallen out of favour with the club.
Banega had been loaned out to Atletico Madrid, where he made 24 appearances, but his temperamental nature meant that he saw red twice during this period.
Italian club Fiorentina were previously said to be keen on signing the youngster.
