Blackburn Rovers Chasing Tottenham Hotspur Defender Pascal Chimbonda – Report
Rumours suggest that Spurs' French defender is being targeted by Premier League rivals Blackburn...
Blackburn Rovers are looking into the possibility of signing Tottenham Hotspur defender Pascal Chimbonda, according to reports.
The 30-year-old French international has been linked with another move away from White Hart Lane in recent times.
Chimbonda initially joined Tottenham in 2006 from Wigan Athletic but after having fallen out of favour at the club, the versatile defender opted to join Sunderland last year.
The former Bastia star then decided to return to Spurs in January this year, but after failing to cement his place in the team, Sky Sports News is now suggesting that the Guadeloupe-born full-back is wanted by Sam Allardyce at Blackburn Rovers.
'Big Sam' has made no secret of his desire to strengthen his squad this summer and reports are claiming that Chimbonda could be at the top of his wanted list.
