Ji-Sung Park Is Like The David Beckham Of Korea - Patrice Evra
The French full-back has commented on his team-mate's phenomenal popularity in his homeland...
"When Ji first arrived in Manchester he never talked and people didn’t know much about him. But when we arrive in Seoul you can see he is the King of Korea!" Evra exclaimed, speaking to the club's official website.
"They shake, they cry, they scream when they see him. It’s amazing. He’s like the David Beckham of Korea. I’m very happy for him because he’s a really good friend and on the pitch he always gives 100 per cent for the team.
"That’s why people love him."
United take on Seoul at lunchtime on Friday July 24, while fixtures against Hangzhou Greentown and Boca Juniors await the Red Devils on July 26 and July 29.
