Aston Villa striker Marlon Harewood is still hoping for a move to Hull City this summer, according to his agent.

Harewood has fallen down the pecking order at Villa Park following the arrival of Emile Heskey at the club during the January transfer window.

His representative, Phil Sproson, has highlighted the former West Ham United front man's desire to team up with fellow former Hammer Bobby Zamora at the KC Stadium.

"Marlon would certainly jump at the chance to join Hull City, and the club knows that," Sproson told The Hull Daily Mail.

"Hull City know where we are and know Marlon's situation. I have spoken to Phil Brown recently and he said the situation was that Hull were looking at a couple of players and were assessing their options.

"Marlon and Bobby played together at West Ham, they know each other very well and are friends, so he would love to play alongside him again."

Zamora is yet to complete a move to Hull but has been locked in talks with manager Phil Brown after his current club Fulham accepted a bid from the Tigers.

The forward could yet be unveiled as a Hull City player today, according to reports.

Meanwhile, current squad members Daniel Cousin and Craig Fagan were involved in an on-pitch bust-up last night. The two were pulled apart by team-mates as they went nose-to-nose at the final whistle after the Tigers' 2-1 pre-season victory over Carlisle United.
