The Cottagers have signed the younger brother of the more famous John Arse Riise...

Roy Hodgson - Fulham (PA)

According to Norwegian media sources, Roy Hodgeson has pulled of the signing of 26-year-old Bjorn Helge Riise from Norwegian outfit Lillestrom.

Riise has become Fulham's second summer signing, after they picked up Stephen Kelly from Birmingham City.

The Norwegian is a right sided midfielder who has been capped by Norway sixteen times and has one international goal to his name.

He has also played in Belgium for Standard Liege, but in a rather unsuccessful stint he only played seventeen games before returning to his homeland in 2005.

The transfer fee is believed to be in the region of £2 million and an official statement from the London club is expected within the next few hours.
