Manchester United target Nicolai Boilesen has stated that he is flattered by the interest he is being shown by some of Europe's top clubs.
The young Danish central defender has been tracked by Sir Alex Ferguson for many years, and a move to a big European club is expected this summer.
United, Premier League rivals Chelsea, Juventus, Ajax and Inter Milan are the main five clubs who have reportedly expressed an interest in signing the 17-year-old defender, and Ajax allegedly came very close to signing him last summer.
However, the transfer fell through as the Dutch giants felt a move at the time was not right, and cancelled the deal.
The player himself meanwhile, has stated that he is proud to be attracting the interest of such big clubs.
Speaking to Danish tabloid Ekstra Bladet, Boilesen said, "I am flattered that all these clubs are interested."
The future of the player being dubbed 'the new Daniel Agger', in reference to the Liverpool central defender who also started his career with the Danish club, is far from certain, and a move could well happen this summer.
The Red Devils are therefore set to do battle with Chelsea once more, in similar fashion to their battle for John Obi Mikel, who eventually joined the Blues from Lyn Oslo of Norway.
