Blackburn Rovers' Christopher Samba Coy Over Transfer Speculation
The Rovers' defender could be leaving the club this summer...
The tall DR Congo international has been linked with a move away from the club as part of manager Sam Allardyce's scheme to raise money for transfers.
However, the Rovers boss has said that the club do not need to sell any more players, and has already signed a new defender.
Lars Jacobsen arrived from Everton on a free transfer, as the former Bolton Wanderers boss attempts to sure up his defence ahead of the new season.
Reports have suggested that Samba could be on his way to West Ham United or Everton, who could lose Joleon Lescott and Matthew Upson respectively.
The 25-year-old has said that if a team comes in with an offer, he would see what happens, sparking rumours that he could quit the club if a bid is made.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Samba said, "I am still at Blackburn so I can't comment.
"Whoever wants me will need to talk to Blackburn Rovers and we will see.
"I have nothing to add. I am calm and waiting. I have had a great holiday."
The central defender, who was used as a centre forward towards the end of last season by Allardyce, has been at the club for the past two years, playing 82 league games for the club, scoring six goals.
