Tottenham Hotspur Claim All But Three Players Can Leave The Club - Report
The Spurs board have apparently invited bids for most of their squad...
The Premier League side has reportedly said that only Jonathan Woodgate, Aaron Lennon and Jermain Defoe are not for sale.
The reasons believed to be behind this statement is the need for transfer funds in order to improve the squad, and it looks as though the club are having to sell before they can buy.
Although players such as Robbie Keane and Darren Bent would not leave for less than their asking price, they could end up at new clubs next season as manager Harry Redknapp looks to secure his summer signings.
The club are yet to make their first move in the transfer window, but are being heavily linked with Swedish striker Marcus Berg and Athletic Bilbao attacker Fernando Llorente.
The former Pompey boss has already missed out on the likes of Roque Santa Cruz and Gareth Barry, both of whom joined Manchester City earlier in the summer, with Redknapp having to turn his attention to other targets.
Didier Zokora is currently in talks with Primera Division side Sevilla, and David Bentley is expected to be sold to raise revenue, leaving Redknapp money to bolster the squad with the intention of making a push for Europe next season.
