Everton To Move For Manchester United Veteran Paul Scholes - Reports
Blues manager David Moyes is interested in signing the veteran midfielder...
UK tabloid sites dailystar.co.uk and mirror.co.uk are both suggesting Toffees boss David Moyes may be targeting Scholes as an addition to his side, which already hosts former United players Phil Neville, Tim Howard and Louis Saha.
Sir Alex Ferguson is unlikely to let the former England international leave Old Trafford this summer, though.
The ex-England international, 34, may no longer be an automatic selection for a starting eleven but continues to play an important role in the first team squad.
Stoke City, Middlesbrough and Bolton Wanderers have also been linked with the veteran.
Ferguson, meanwhile, is believed to be an admirer of Everton starlet Jack Rodwell.
The 19-year-old, who impressed at the Under-21 European Championships in Sweden, signed a five year contract at Goodison Park in February this year and has been tipped for success by Moyes and his international manager Stuart Pearce.
