Portsmouth Line Up Bid For Olympiakos' Fernando Belluschi
The Argentine midfielder could be on his way to England...
The Premier League side have recently been taken over by Arab billionaire Dr. Sulaiman Al Fahim and are set for a summer of big spending.
The club have yet to appoint a new manager, after Paul Hart revealed he would not be taking the Pompey job permanently upon securing Premier League survival last season.
Despite the lack of a manager, it is thought the club want to capture the energetic midfielder before the new season.
The 25-year-old has been impressing since his move to Greece from his native Argentina, and Pompey are reportedly leading the race for his signature.
The former River Plate player will want a move to England, but a move to a bigger European league may be too hard to turn down for the Argentina international.
The attacking midfielder has been at the Greek club for the past year and a half and has played a total of 34 league games for them, scoring eight goals.
However, despite his good performances throughout his career, he has failed to hold down a regular spot in the national set up, making only two appearances for Argentina.
