Lucas Neill Considers West Ham United U-Turn - Reports

The right-back is considering re-signing for the London club after all...

Lucas Neill - Australia
Former West Ham United right-back Lucas Neill is considering signing a new contract at Upton Park.

Neill became a free agent after leaving West Ham last month at the end of his contract but is now considering an instant return.

Manager Gianfranco Zola is keen to bring the Australian international back into his squad and a good contract could tempt Neill.

The former Blackburn Rovers player parted company with the Hammers after a new contract could not be agreed.

But Sky Sports reports that contract talks have been rekindled and a new deal could be close.

Neill has made 78 appearances for West ham, scoring one goal.
