The striker has failed to settle at Tottenham Hotspur and is widely expected to move on. His agent, Oleg Artemov, however, has dismissed a return to Spartak.
He told the Russian paper, Rossikaysa Gazeta, "Roman will not return to Spartak.
"Whatever the rumour, he has tasted European football and only wants to play in on of the major leagues."
For his part, Pavlyuchenko admitted that he was none the wiser as to his future, saying, "I am flying back to London on July 7 because Tottenham's first training session after the vacations is a day later.
"As for the rumours about my future, there are so many that I stopped paying attention to them. I need to return to London and maybe then I will understand what my situation is."
Pavlyuchenko has scored 14 goals in 32 games for Tottenham. Villarreal, Stuttgart, Roma and Besiktas have all shown an interest in him in the recent past.
