Blackburn Rovers Consider Offer For Chelsea's Franco Di Santo – Report
The Argentine youngster's future at Chelsea appears to be up in the air as Rovers hover...
"I don't know what's happening with Di Santo," 'Big Sam' told The Mirror. "I'd have thought [new Chelsea manager Carlo] Ancelotti would look at all his players first.
"We would be interested in anybody from Chelsea if the price is right for us."
Blackburn are looking at a number of strikers to replace the departed Matt Derbyshire and Roque Santa Cruz. Although Williams told Sky Sports that they are looking for a proven Premier League striker, Di Santo could follow Ben Sahar out of Stamford Bridge this summer if Chelsea were offered a reasonable fee.
Although this is possible, a loan deal remains a likelier option. The 20-year-old made a number of substitute appearances for the Blues last term and a temporary move could be the best route for all concerned.
