Report: Tottenham Interested In Lokomotiv Moscow 'Keeper Eldin Jakupovic
The Swiss shot-stopper is the latest to be linked with a move to White Hart Lane...
Tottenham Hotspur's chase for a second goalkeeper continues, as they turn their interest to Eldin Jakupovic.
Spurs are desperate for a back-up to Heurelho Gomes, and are reported to be interested in England U-21 international Scott Loach.
Now, according to The Times, they are also considering a move for Jakupovic. The Swiss 'keeper is owned by Lokomotiv Moscow, but is currently on loan at Grasshoppers Zurich.
His contract at Lokomotiv expires in 2010, so the Russian club could be keen to cash in on him now, rather than let him leave for nothing next year. He is valued at around €2 million, considerably less than the estimated €7 million Spurs would have to pay for Loach.
Jakupovic has one international cap for Switzerland, having chosen to play for them instead of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
