Fraizer Campbell Wants To Join Hull City - Player's Father
Keith Campbell, who doubles as his son's agent, has claimed that the striker is keen to complete his switch to Humberside...
Keith Campbell also works as his son's representative, and has confirmed to The Hull Daily Mail that City, despite reported interest from Sunderland, remain his son's preferred option, though he is still waiting to ink the £1 million a year deal offered to him by the Tigers.
It appears that wrangling over the severance payments he will receive from United, along with the Black Cats interest, has held things up somewhat, but the Yorkshire club remain the 21-year-old's first choice, it seems, with his father confirming that he has not had discussions with any other club.
"I've spoken to two people. I've spoken to Paul Duffen and I've spoken to Phil Brown, and they're the only two people I've spoken to," Mr Campbell told The Mail.
"There are no deadlines at all. Fraizer has played a lot of football and we are going to go off and enjoy the holiday, have a discussion while we're away and see where it takes us."When asked whether his son's £6 million switch to City was therefore on the cards, Campbell senior was unequivocal, declaring, "Definitely. It's just purely and simply down to Manchester United, when they sort themselves out then it's fine."
