Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Explains His Decision To Snub Real Madrid
The Frenchman states the reasoning behind his loyalty to his project with the Gunners...
Wenger said that he feels the project that is underway at Arsenal is of his own creation, and that he may not receive such freedom at other clubs to instil his own ethic into the team, the club and the facilities as a whole.
It is alleged that Wenger even designed the smallest facets of the club's new Emirates Stadium, including curved changing-rooms that follow Feng Shui guidelines.
"Real Madrid is a football-oriented show, but there is another dimension in this game: the success of building a team with a style, a knowledge, a culture of your own game at a club with young people," Wenger is reported to have told the press today.
"This project [at Arsenal] is in construction and I want to see it through to the end. My enjoyment comes from seeing us play football like that."
