Arsenal's Cesc Fabregas looking focussed for his side
Barcelona are reportedly ready to test Arsenal’s resolve by offering €45 million for skipper Cesc Fabregas.

A report in the Sunday Mirror claims that the newly-crowned European champions have made the young Gunner their top transfer target this summer and are hoping to lure him back to the Camp Nou.

Of course, the player has long been linked with a return to Spain, and Barcelona in particular, having spent much of his youth with the Catalan side.

However, Fabregas has always publicly insisted he is happy at the Emirates and has no desire to leave.

Yet the Gunner's latest comments, in an interview last week, may just encourage Barcelona.

Speaking to ONA FM, the midfielder admitted he was a little jealous of the way Barcelona play and insisted that anyone would want to play for the club.

Arsenal would would be reluctant to allow their captain to leave, although some might claim that they have proved, this season, that they can cope without the youngster.

An injury picked up against Liverpool in December saw Fabregas sidelined until April.

Yet, during that spell the Gunners went on a terrific run that saw them regain fourth spot in the Premier League, as well as making it to the Champions League semi-finals.
