After watching one of Barcelona's Champions League final heroes, Samuel Eto'o, evade Manchester United's defence before stroking the ball home to break the deadlock in Wednesday evening's showdown, Manchester City are preparing to launch a mega-money offer in order to convince the recently-crowned European Cup winners to part company with the Cameroonian hotshot.
Eto'o has been a consistent big-game player for the Catalan club and at 28-years-old is still considered to be in the midst of his peak years as a footballer. However, Barca may be willing to do business as the former Mallorca ace has just one year left on his current contract. Eto'o, though, is reported to be happy at Camp Nou.
If the City are to fail in their attempt to bring him to the north west of England then they may be tempted to move for Manchester United's on-loan Argentine star, Carlos Tevez.
