Kolo Toure Aiming To Take Arsenal To The Top Next Season
The Ivorian has added his voice to the chorus claiming that the Gunners will definitely improve...
Toure, along with the rest of the Arsenal side, witnessed at first-hand the Manchester United celebrations, as the Red Devils clinched yet another crown with a goalless draw against the Gunners on Saturday at Old Trafford. The joyous atmosphere generated by those celebrations is something which the Ivorian hopes that he and his team-mates can help bring back to Arsenal.
"When you see the atmosphere at Old Trafford after the game, you want to bring that back to your stadium,” Toure told Arsenal TV Online.
"I had this feeling five years ago and I want to come back and have this feeling again."
Toure is the only remaining regular member of the famous 'Invincibles' side of 2003-04 who is still playing at the club, and the centre-back acknowledges that there is still much toil ahead for this young Arsenal team, if they are ever to match the achievements of fine teams from the past.
"There is still some work to do and we are such a young team, are improving and I hope that when one trophy comes, a lot will then follow," he concluded.
