The striker is set for showdown talks with the Blues which will decide whether his future lies in west London.

Didier Drogba has admitted that he will meet with the Chelsea directors at the end of the season to discuss his future at the club.

The Ivorian has a little over 12 months remaining on his current contract, which has led to speculation that he may leave Stamford Bridge.

Speaking to the Sunday People, Drogba admitted that he would discuss the situation with his superiors before deciding where his future lies.

“After the FA Cup final I want a meeting with the directors and then I will decide what is right for me,” he explained.

“For now I just want to concentrate on winning a trophy with Chelsea.”

The 31-year-old has enjoyed a tumultuous season in which he appeared to struggle under Luis Felipe Scolari before returning to form in impressive style under new manager Guus Hiddink.

Yet Drogba has also found himself hitting the headlines for the wrong reasons this season.

He was punished for throwing a coin at the crowd in an FA Cup tie and is also like to face further disciplinary action for his furious reaction to referee Tom Henning Ovrebo after the Blues’ Champions League elimination to Barcelona.

A number of clubs have already been linked to Drogba, with former side Marseille, Inter and Manchester City all believed to be interested.
