The left-back hopes that his international team-mate will be wending his way to Old Trafford this summer...Manchester United defender Patrice Evra has revealed that he would be thrilled to see his international team-mate Franck Ribery alongside him at Old Trafford next season.
The Bayern Munich wing man, highly-rated throughout Europe, is believed to be a target for a number of clubs, including Catalan giants Barcelona, after expressing disappiontment with the way the season in Bavaria had turned out. The indications were that he would be on his way to Barca after he was seen spending time being consoled by Blaugrana players in the wake of the German outfit's heavy defeat in the Champions League to the Primera Division club.
However, United have emerged as contenders for the vibrant attacker's signature, after rumours appeared in various media outlets claiming that he was a summer target for Alex Ferguson.
Evra would be delighted to see him in Manchester, telling ESPN, "Franck has everything required to impose himself at Manchester.
"I have no idea about the advancement of the discussions, or even if they exist, but seeing him here would be a real pleasure.
"He is made for this club."
