Inter's Sulley Muntari Hints At Tottenham Hotspur Move
The Ghanaian midfielder seems to want a move back to England...
The Ghanaian midfielder has spent the last year in Italy playing for the Serie A champions, but has fuelled speculation that he could be heading back to England by refusing to rule out a move to north London.
There have been rumours that racist chanting aimed at the player has provoked him to leave the peninsula, but he merely maintains that the Premier League is the best in the world.
Speaking to Setanta Sports, Muntari said, "I love the football in England, there is no doubt about that. That is where the best league is.
"But I only signed last year for Inter and I like it here. As long as the coach still needs me, I am happy to stay.
"At the end of the season, things could change, though, so we will have to wait and see."
The former Udinese player also refused to rule out a move to Spurs, and a possible reunion with former Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp.
"Everyone knows that I really like Harry. He is one of the best coaches in football. He is a top manager like the one I have at the moment.
"A move to Spurs? I don’t know."
Spurs are reportedly after a few big name signings in the summer as they look to challenge the top four next season, and it is thought that Muntari, who Redknapp signed for Portsmouth in the first place, may be heading the list.
