Speculation That Everton Will Move For Sporting Lisbon's Joao Moutinho Intensifies
The Portugal international has been linked with the Toffees once more after the Leoes suggested they will sell him this summer...
British tabloid The Daily Mail are linking Sporting Lisbon midfielder Joao Moutinho with a move to Premier League club Everton at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old was a transfer target for the Toffees last summer but it is thought they were unwilling to meet his €20.2 million (£18m) valuation.
The Merseyside outfit were recently rumoured to be stepping up their interest in the 19-time capped Portugal international after he admitted he would struggle to turn down a move to England.
It is claimed Everton manager David Moyes could finally land his man in the upcoming transfer window after the Leoes agreed to allow the 5ft 7in midfielder to leave for a fee thought to be closer to €11.2m (£10m).
Meanwhile, it is also suggested that Tottenham Hotspur's midfield pair Tom Huddlestone and Jermaine Jenas are on the Toffees' radar as potential recruits this summer.
