Porto's Aly Cissokho: Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo Is Just Another Player
The French defender says playing against the FIFA World Player of the Year is just like playing against any other opponent...
Porto full-back Aly Cissokho has insisted that he has prepared himself to face Cristiano Ronaldo in the Champions League quarter-final second leg on Wednesday in the same way he would for any other player.
Ronaldo, who is currently FIFA World Player of the Year, recently opined that Manchester United will overcome the Dragoes because they have a better team.
He also suggested that he feels confident of running riot in the Estadio do Dragao, and with the Red Devils needing to score following the 2-2 draw at Old Trafford, many would fear the task of marking the Portuguese international.
However, French defender Cissokho is confident of keeping the 24-year-old quiet.
"For me Ronaldo is like all the other players," Cissokho is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"I will take care and be focussed. I’m certain and have faith in my ability. I won’t change the way I play."
