Report: Fulham Keeping Tabs On Coventry City's Aron Gunnarsson
The Cottagers may face competition from Scottish giants Celtic for the Iceland international midfielder's signature...
According to a report in the British tabloid The Sun, Premier League club Fulham are considering making an end of season offer for Coventry City's Aron Gunnarsson.
The 19-year-old midfielder has impressed since joining the Championship outfit from Dutch club AZ last summer, scoring one goal in 41 appearances for the Sky Blues.
Apparently, Cottagers manager Roy Hodgson is willing to spend up to £1.5 million to secure the services of the ten-time capped Iceland international.
However, it is thought that Scottish giants Celtic are also interested in the 5ft 10in midfielder, who has made himself known as a long-throw specialist at the Ricoh Arena.
"I haven’t had an offer but I’ll sign if it is good," Gunnarrson, who is said to be happy to stay with Coventry, is somewhat ambiguously quoted as saying.
