Sir Alex Ferguson Hails Everton Boss David Moyes
Fergie has vocalised his appreciation of his opposite number and compatriot over at Goodison Park...
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has shown his appreciation for Everton gaffer David Moyes, stating that his fellow Scot has excelled at a club that don't have the resources of big-name teams but pose a legitimate threat in any competition in which they feature.
The Sun reports that Fergie is a big admirer of Moyes' work; and given the added speculation that the United boss is likely to step down in the near future, the rumours have already started circulating that Moyes will be Sir Alex's heir to the Old Trafford throne.
"David hasn’t got the credit he deserves," said Ferguson.
"When you take everything into consideration, he’s done an incredible job at Everton.
"He has not had the resources of other clubs but got all his younger players on long contracts and built around them with the likes of Phil Jagielka, Tim Cahill and Joleon Lescott.
"The signings he has made have been terrific and it means he has continuity for years."
