thumbnail Hello,

The Tigers have until the end of March to file their official complaint with the FA...

Hull City manager Phil Brown reacted to the aftermath of Arsenal's victory over the Tigers in the FA Cup earlier in the month with outraged, and very public, disdain.

Brown, together with his assistant Brian Horton, were adamant that Gunners captain Francesc Fabregas had committed a disrespectful - and disgusting - act, by spitting at the feet of Horton in the Ashburton Grove tunnel.

The League Manager's Association confirmed just a day later that they had received contact from Brown and Hull regarding the matter, but the FA were yet to receive an official complaint, and set a deadline of today in order to close the matter.

That deadline, though, has now been extended.

An FA spokesperson is quoted by The Guardian as saying, "We have now received a request from Hull for an extension of time to provide their observations.

"We have considered the request and allowed an extension of time to provide for their observations," the spokesperson concluded.

The spitting allegation is one that Fabregas continues to deny.
