A statement on their official website reads, "the club is delighted to announce that Aaron Lennon has signed an extension to his contract that will see him at White Hart Lane until 2014."
The 21-year-old had been linked with a transfer to Liverpool at the end of the season, but the Reds may now have to look elsewhere for a right-sided winger this summer.
After rising through the youth ranks at Leeds United, Lennon made 43 first-team appearances for the Whites before moving to Spurs for just £1 million in 2005.
The 5ft 5in winger has since established himself as a key first-team member at White Hart Lane, scoring 15 goals in 160 appearances for Spurs and winning nine full international caps for England.
