Branislav Ivanovic Wants To Leave Chelsea For Fiorentina - Agent
The Serbian international defender could finally leave the Blues for the Viola after seeing a prospective move fail in January...
Branislav Ivanovic's agent has claimed that the player is seeking a move away from Premier League club Chelsea and is eager to join Serie A side Fiorentina.
The versatile defender, who can play in the centre or in the right, has struggled to break into the Blues first-team since signing from Russian team Spartak Moscow in January 2008 for €13 million (£9.7m).
The 25-year-old Serbia international has made 14 appearances for the west London based outfit this season, but it seems he is eager to make the starting line-up on a more regular basis.
Having been linked with moves to Italian giants Milan and Juventus last summer, Ivanovic almost joined the Viola in January only for Chelsea to call the deal off.
"Branislav wants to leave Chelsea," his agent Vlado Borozan is quoted as saying in The Sun.
"Fiorentina is his first choice at the moment. The cost? Now less than £10 million."
