thumbnail Hello,

The Norwegian defender has brushed aside transfer speculation linking him with a move away from Craven Cottage...

Since joining Premier League club Fulham from Danish side FC Copenhagen in January 2008, Brede Hangeland has produced some extremely impressive performances.

The 27-year-old centre-back helped the Cottagers avoid relegation from England's top flight last season and has helped lead them to ninth in the Premier League this campaign.

The 6ft 5in Norwegian international was linked with a move to Arsenal during the January transfer window, but he insists he is very happy at the west London club.

"During my career there have been times when there's been a lot of speculation, when I was in Denmark and Norway," Hangeland told Fulham's official website.

"I've learnt not to think about it and I also know that speculation could be nothing. Obviously I'm happy when people think I'm doing well.

"That's the most important thing, [that] the manager, the players and the fans at Fulham are happy with what I do. It's a big thing for me.

"I've said it all along, I'm having a great time here, I'm happy at this club and I'd like to stay here for a long time."
