Hiddink To Hold Chelsea Press Conference Early In The Morning

Rise and shine at Chelsea as the coach demands a pre-breakfast press conference and the media will be hungry for answers...

Chelsea coach Guus Hiddink is ready to get the British media out of bed earlier than usual by holding his first press conference at 07:55 GMT on Friday morning.

The new coach, who replaced Luiz Felipe Scolari last week, means business, and he will be up bright and early to answer questions regarding his Blues side ahead of the Saturday game against third-placed Aston Villa in the Premier League.

It's not the best way to introduce himself to the unforgiving media and he could come under criticism from a number of tabloids who are bound to milk the occasion. The conference will also be shown live on the club's own channel, as reported by their official website.

Chelsea head to Villa Park this weekend in the first game of the Premier League week 26 fixture list.

Hiddink will be hoping to get off to the perfect start as Juventus come to town on Wednesday in the last 16 stage of the Champions League.

The Blues have looked shaky this season and their new coach recently bemoaned the state of the side's fitness.

The game against Juve will not be easy though as former Blues coach Claudio Ranieri will want to prove a point to his old side.
