Considering Valencia's uncertain financial future, it is not surprising to hear of relentless speculation linking David Villa with a lucrative move away from the club as the scramble for his signature allegedly increases.
However, the player's agent has declared that there has been no official interest from Chelsea as yet, and a move to Manchester City is not a possibility.
Jose Luis Tamargo today told the Daily Mirror: "David has rejected the chance to play in England.
"It would be a nonsense to negotiate with Manchester City and Chelsea aren't interested.
"If Valencia do decide to sell him he wants to stay in Spain."
David Villa is one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, and has already found the net on 18 occasions in La Liga this season.
Liverpool and Inter have been press-linked with the player, but the latest news is sure to alert Spanish giants, Barcelona and Real Madrid.Chelsea though, may require an additional striker in the summer, as Didier Drogba could return to Olympique Marseille.
