Goal Tanzania went live at 1600 CET on Tuesday April 15 and will provide a local and global perspective on football through its coverage of the game in the East African nation.
Chief Editor of Goal Tanzania, Nicholous John, said: "Football is not only a sport, but a source of unity and employment for many Africans. It is through this vision that Goal Tanzania will operate.

Goal Tanzania becomes Goal’s 33rd edition, joining a long list of other countries and regions in possessing its own version of the world’s largest football website.
Tanzania is the sixth nation in Africa to have its own edition, following in the footsteps of Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa and Egypt.
