The former winger has been seriously injured in a road accident in his native country of Zimbabwe, claiming the life of his elder brother as well as a female passenger
Former Coventry City, Birmingham City, Sheffield United and Huddersfield Town winger Peter Ndlovu is reportedly conscious and communicating following a car crash in his home country of Zimbabwe.
The accident, which took place in Victoria Falls, claimed the life of his elder brother and former Zimbabwe international footballer Adam Ndlovu after a tyre burst, forcing the car off the road and into a tree.
A female passenger is also reported to have passed away as a result of the crash.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Ndlovu's close friend and former manager Winston Makamure confirmed the 39-year-old’s condition: "Peter is now out of danger. He is now conscious and is communicating,
"He has internal injuries, head injuries, broken ribs and a broken leg."
