Egypt 3-0 Togo: Mohamed Salah nets brace in Pharaohs win
Mohamed Salah continued his rise during Bob Bradley's reign on Tuesday, scoring twice in a 3-0 drubbing of visiting Togo during a 2014 World Cup qualifying warm-up game
Basel owned striker Mohamed Salah struck twice in the second half to help coach Bob Bradley’s side to another win against an African side on Tuesday in a game against Togo.
Al Ahly’s Mohamed Nagy Geddo got the opener on 26 minutes against the west Africans and Salah found the net shortly after halftime and once again in the last five minutes of regular time.
Coach Bradley continued to rely on veteran midfielder Mohamed Aboutrika and brought on international caps world record holder Ahmed Hassan to replace him.
The Pharaohs are scheduled to face Malawi on Thursday, May 24, in their final friendly prior to the start of their 2014 World Cup qualifying campaign that begins with them hosting Mozambique on June 1 prior to a trip to Guinea on June 10.
