Club Africain’s Zouhaier Dhaouadi Dedicates Goal Against MC Alger To His Coach
The winger sealed the win for his side in the first leg of their UNAF Nessma Cup Final against Mouloudia.
Club Africain’s Zouhaier Dhaouadi made an impressive return from suspension yesterday in his team’s 2-0 win over MC Alger in the first leg of his team’s North African Football Union (UNAF) Cup of Champions. After the vicotory, the talented winger, who scored a stunning left footed effort from well outside the box to add to his side’s lead, said his post game celebration was a show of solidarity for his coach, Mourad Mahjoub.“Recently a lot of people have been criticizing us so I went to Mourad [Mahjoub] as a message to him. I dedicate the goal to him on behalf of my teammates and myself,” he said while speaking to Nessma TV.
Meanwhile, Dhaouadi also admitted that the "Biancorosso" had gotten the result they were looking for but that they were still far from claiming the UNAF Cup of Champions Trophy.
“It’s true, we’ve taken a step towards the title but there’s a return leg that’s going to settle everything. There’s a tough game waiting for us in Algeria,” explained the Tunisian international.
