Zimbabwe FA Hands Interim National Job To Black Mambas Coach Madinda Ndlovu

Substantive coach Tom Saintfiet is sorting out his working permit…
The board of the Zimbabwe FA has given the nod to Black Mambas coach Madinda Ndlovu to take charge of the national team on an interim basis until newly appointed Belgian gaffer Tom Saintfiet sorts out his working permit.

A source close to ZIFA confided in New Zimbabwe that the board arrived at that decision last Friday through a vote process.

“In the end, the matter was put to vote and the majority of board members felt Ndlovu was the right person to lead the Warriors until Saintfiet gets a work permit,” the official said.

Immigration officials in the southern African country chased out Saintfied immediately after his appointment in September ordering him to apply for a work permit from outside the country.

The Highlanders legend and former Zimbabwe international will now prepare a team for Zimbabwe’s international friendly against Mozambique in Maputo on November 17.
