Paris Saint-Germain have signed defender Siaka Tiene from fellow French Ligue 1 club Valenciennes on a three-year contract for 1 million.

The Ivory Coast full-back moved to Valenciennes in 2008 from Saint Etienne but fell out with the club earlier this year, with suggestions rife that he was certain to be offloaded.

The 28-year-old has now been snapped up by French giants PSG, who have seen midfielder Younousse Sankhare leave on a season-long loan to Ligue 2 side Dijon.
