AFCON 2012 Qualifiers: Senegal Team To Camp In Paris Ahead Of DR Congo Clash
The Lions of Teranga are regrouping in France to prepare for the final assault against the Leopards…

Senegal’s national coach Amara Traore will be leaving for Paris today to prepare for the regrouping of his team’s European professionals.
According to Walfadjri, a Senegalese newspaper, training sessions will kick off on Sunday in the French capital.
Meanwhile, the west African nation’s FA, the FSF, have sent a high-profile delegation on to Lubumbashi, DR Congo - where the encounter will take place on September 5 - to finalise arrangements ahead of the Lions’ arrival.
Amara says he will be able to follow next weekend’s league matches of his European-based players while in Paris. But one of his major worries at the moment is news of midfielder Issiar Dia, whose club Fenerbahce earlier sent a fax to the national coaching staff to report an injury to his right thigh.
The Turkish club consequently asked Senegal to ignore the player for the DR Congo encounter – a situation Traore is yet to digest.
Senegal are housed in Group E alongside DR Congo, Cameroon and Mauritius.
